Mico-Adventures

Adventure is only a state of mind (Alastair Humphreys)

It can be defined as “An unusual or exciting experience” and as such is all around us. You don’t need lots of money, time or expertise to have a decent adventure, you don’t need to water-ski across the Atlantic or climb Everest in swimming shorts. All you need to do is take a risk. All you need is the spirit of adventure, a bit of childlike curiosity, a willingness to explore new places (physical, mental or cultural) and to push your own boundaries. The main aim of micro-adventures are to get Out There and Do Stuff, and perhaps get back and motivate others to challenge themselves and enjoy the reward of a break from daily routines.

Adventure is all around us, at all times. Adventure is accessible to normal people, in normal places, in short segments of time and without having to spend much money.
